WORLDCOMP'08 - KUWAIT SECTION
The 2008 World Congress in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Applied Computing

General Chair's and Congress Chair - Kuwait Welcome
(Prof. Hamid R. Arabnia and Dr. Jalal Karam)

On behalf of the Scientific and Organizing Committees of the 2008 World Congress in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Applied Computing – Kuwait, I would like to welcome you to the WORLDCOMP’08 – Kuwait section website.

The task forces of the World Academy of Science in the Middle East and Near Far East Region have teamed up with Vision For Consultations
to deliver this major and unprecedented event composed of 25 conferences held simultaneously in Kuwait and for the first time outside of the USA.
Given the current security conditions in almost all European and North American airports, the motivation behind this gathering is to lighten the burden of traveling too far to publish in prestigious international conferences. The submitted research papers of authors from the Middle East and Near Far East regions will be refereed by the World Academy of Science.
Each conference will have its own proceedings. All conference proceedings/books are considered for inclusion in major database indexes that are designed to provide easy access to the current literature of the sciences: (database examples: DBLP, ISI Thomson Scientific, IEE INSPEC, ...).

The WORLDCOMP'08 Kuwait Section is created to benefit those scientists and researchers who will not be able to travel to the main WORLDCOMP'08 Congress due to delays in securing USA visa in a timely manner .The main WORLDCOMP'08 Congress will be held in the USA.
